The Cure is a British rock band formed in Crawley, West Sussex, in 1976. Since its beginning, the band has continually experiences numerous lineup changes, and yet has endured to become one of the most influential and respected bands in the post-punk and alternative rock realms. Famous for their gothic image and dark, introspective songwriting, The Cure has produced numerous classic albums including Disintegration, Bloodflowers, and Wish and singles like “Friday I’m in Love,” Boys Don’t Cry” and “Just Like Heaven.”
