Mogwai is a Scottish post-rock band that was formed in 1995 in Glasgow, Scotland. The band consists of four members: Stuart Braithwaite, Martin Bulloch, Dominic Aitchison and Barry Burns. They combine a variety of instruments and sound textures to create dreamy, ambient sounds. They often layer distorted guitars on top of drum machines to create intricate and cinematic soundscapes. They have released 9 studio albums, and their most successful release was 2006’s Mr. Beast.
